Our mission is to aid local families by helping to support basic needs for all children such as food, clothing, learning support services, play, and building strong relationships. Children should thrive rather than survive.

Free Hot Meals
Deciding between keeping the lights on and serving your family a hot meal should never cross a caregiver's mind. We want to meet you where the need is by giving out NO COST meals from our food truck.
Keep your eyes out for our truck in your neighborhood!

We encourage families to bring in the clothes that no longer fit their children and then swap or donate to get the next size up. Do you have children's clothes you need to get rid of and want to see them go to a child in need?

Storytime and Book Sharing
At Be the Village for Kids inc., We hope to foster a love for reading through volunteer "Storytellers", and book donation. We believe a passion for reading is super important and feel that giving out children's books will help local kids grow a love for literacy.

Fruit/Veggie Care Packages
Food is vital to life, growth, and development. Children need nutritious food daily to nourish their developing bodies and brains. Be The Village for Kids Inc., is helping our community with this need by giving out "Care Packages" to local school age children and their families to help give more balanced nutrition than many families feel they can afford.

We believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and our volunteers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in gardening fresh organic produce that can be shared with children to help reduce childhood hunger. A beautiful, flourishing garden can not only feed a child and their family for a day but they can be taught a skill to feed a family for a lifetime.

Would you like to become a member of our village? Please donate here to support our mission. Our online payment system is simple and convenient. A monthly donation of $24.99 helps provide a hot meal and/or a box of fruits and veggies for a child in need. No donation is too small!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
WANT TO HELP LOCAL CHILDREN?
We are looking for volunteers who want to see children live up to their full potential by helping them learn skills that can give them hope for a brighter future. Skills like reading, gardening, ABA, SLP, math and so much more. Retired teachers with a passion for helping kids learn? Been growing food the way your grandparents showed you and ready to pass it to the next generation? Want to come and read a book to small children for Storytime? Not every family has a village to support and guide them.
