At Be the Village for Kids inc., we believe in creating an inclusive environment where children can thrive.
Our mission is to aid local families by helping to support basic needs for all children such as food, clothing, learning support services, play, and building strong relationships so kids can thrive rather than survive. We feel children should be able to focus on learning, friendships, and just being kids without food insecurity crossing their minds.

At Be the Village for Kids inc., our mission is to provide support to families facing challenges, in several ways. We hope to foster a love for reading through volunteer "Storytellers", and we know this is important, but we need to make sure they can focus and learn by filling their tummy first.

We believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and our volunteers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in gardening fresh organic produce that can be shared with children to help reduce childhood hunger. A garden & produce stand will also teach skills like buying and selling, counting money, love for community, and will help end childhood hunger, one child at a time.

Our team of helpers are passionate about helping kiddos learn and have years of experience to bring to the table. They are dedicated to helping children achieve their academic goals while in public, private, or homeschool educational paths.

We encourage families to bring in the clothes that no longer fit their kiddos and then swap or donate to get the next size up. Do you have children's clothes you need to get rid of and want to see them go to a child in need?

Would you like to become a member of our village? Please donate here to support our vision. Our online payment system is secure and convenient, allowing you to help feed a local child quickly. $25 helps provide a box of produce for a child in need. We are looking for volunteers who want to see children live up to their full potential by helping them learn skills that can give them hope for a brighter future. Skills like reading and writing, gardening, ABA, speech, math and so much more. Retired teachers? Been growing a garden since you were a child because your grandparents taught you?
